Hello, I’m River, the person behind Latte River.
When something appeals to me, I want to go a little further than simply saying I like it. Why does it draw me in? What lies behind its appearance, or in the details I might otherwise miss? Learning more can deepen that feeling. This is the pleasure I want to share here, in my own words.
What I want to explore first
My first subjects are Disney and Ralph Lauren. What makes a Disney story or space feel meaningful? How does Ralph Lauren’s world and craftsmanship connect with the way we dress and live? I want to follow these questions through experience, research, and reflection.
When I write about something I have experienced, I will describe my own impressions. When I draw on research, I will make that clear too. I want to share what I find without confusing the two—or pretending to have answers I do not yet have.
A latte and a river
“Latte” is part of the name for a simple reason: I love lattes. “River” reflects my wish for life to flow as gently as a river. I hope this becomes a place where you can pause with a cup in hand and enjoy a thoughtful read.
Cafe, Travel, and Life are also themes I want to develop. For now, I am starting with Disney and Ralph Lauren, and will open the other themes as their content takes shape.
The more we understand something, the more we may find to love in it. And the more we love it, the more we want to explore. I hope Latte River offers a starting point for that curiosity.
